Our 624-unit apartment community located in Eatontown, NJ is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician who enjoys solving problems, takes ownership of their work, and is committed to delivering an outstanding resident experience.If you have strong troubleshooting skills, enjoy hands-on repairs, and want to build your career with a company that values teamwork, growth, and quality service, we'd love to hear from you.As a Maintenance Technician at Morgan Properties, you will:Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and other general maintenance issuesComplete service requests efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer servicePerform preventative maintenance to maximize the life and performance of building systems and equipmentAssist with apartment turns, preparing homes for new residentsMaintain the interior and exterior of the community in accordance with company standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulationsSupport seasonal responsibilities and help maintain the overall appearance of the propertyCommunicate professionally with residents and onsite team members regarding repairs, timelines, and updatesParticipate in a rotating on-call schedule to support after-hours maintenance needs and emergency responseJoin a team that takes pride in delivering quality work, supports one another's success, and is committed to creating an exceptional experience for every resident.Compensation & Incentives:$1,000 Sign-On BonusBase Pay: $22.00–$26.00 per hourUp to 50% Rent DiscountProperty Staff Shared Renewal CommissionsMorgan Essentials: $300 QuarterlyOn-Call Appreciation: $15/day while holding the on-call phoneMedical, Dental & Vision Benefits401(k) with Company MatchGenerous Paid Time Off, including 10 paid holidays and sick leaveHours & Schedule:Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMRotating paid on-call participation requiredMust be available for weather-related and emergency maintenance eventsSchedule may adjust based on business needsWhat We'll Expect From You:Experience performing general maintenance repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentryStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to prioritize multiple service requestsComfortable using smartphones, mobile work order applications, email, and other technology to manage daily responsibilitiesActive, valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicleMust live within a reasonable distance to support on-call and emergency responseHVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferredIf you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.Established in 1985 by Mitchell Morgan, Morgan Properties is a national real estate investment and management company headquartered in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
