Undergrad Co-op - Finance/Accounting

$28.87 per hour

Amgen seeks undergraduate students for a six-month finance and accounting co-op (May–November 2027) working 20 hours weekly on strategic projects. Successful candidates may be evaluated for full-time roles post-graduation and will receive mentorship, executive networking, and hands-on experience in a biotech environment.

Responsibilities

Complete multiple meaningful finance and accounting projects aligned with strategic business goals
Work with accounting/finance teams to understand departmental contributions to company success
Participate in week-long multidisciplinary case study competition across operations, sales, marketing, and forecasting
Attend weekly executive lunches and networking events with Amgen leadership
Build financial and analytical skills through challenging, hands-on assignments

Requirements

Currently enrolled full-time in Bachelor's degree program with 3.0+ GPA
18 years or age or older at time of application
Authorized to work in United States for program duration
Available for part-time schedule and future full-time employment commitment by July 2028 if offered
Preferred: concentration in Economics, Business, Accounting, Finance, or Biotechnology Management
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail

Compensation: $28.87 per hour
