Location: Kew Gardens, NY Department: Legal Job Type: N/A Overview The Office of the Queens County District Attorney (QDA) is seeking a Case Manager Specialist within our Diversion & Alternative Sentencing Bureau. This bureau provides a variety of clinical services to criminal justice–involved individuals. Responsibilities Review comprehensive bio‑psychosocial evaluations of defendants and families and engage in appropriate treatment planning. Supervise Case Managers and Senior Case Managers. Schedule site visits with community‑based organizations. Serve as a liaison between Assistant District Attorneys (ADAs), defense providers, the judiciary, and treatment providers. Appear in court and provide status reports of defendants' progress in treatment. Maintain appropriate records. Conduct presentations to ADAs, interns, and students. Assist with coverage in the Felony Treatment Court Part. Perform all other relevant duties as determined by the Managing Supervisor, Bureau Chief, Deputy Bureau Chief, and executive staff. Preferred Education and Qualification Requirements At least five years of prior experience in the treatment court or criminal justice field and/or at QDA. Bachelor's degree and at least one year of prior supervisory experience required; Master’s degree highly preferred. Must have a working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office software, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Applicant Information Salary Range: $78,000 - $82,000 (commensurate with education and experience) Comprehensive benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, deferred compensation, NYC pension.
