Contract Duration: Up to 3 Years
ConsultNet is seeking a Biostatistician to support a long-term data and research initiative focused on improving the quality, structure, and usability of complex population and research data.
The Biostatistician will perform statistical design, modeling, analysis, and reporting while working closely with scientists, engineers, data professionals, and researchers. This role will also contribute to data quality, harmonization, and preparation of complex datasets for approved research and analytical use.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of directly related experience, or Master's degree plus 2 years of directly related experience.
- Strong foundation in statistics, biostatistics, data science, mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Experience with statistical analysis, modeling, and interpretation of complex datasets.
- Proficiency with R, SAS/STAT, Stata, or similar statistical programming tools.
- Experience working with large, complex, or multi-source datasets.
- bility to evaluate data quality, identify inconsistencies, and apply appropriate statistical methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- bility to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and research teams.
- Experience with population, biomedical, clinical, epidemiological, life sciences, or research data.
- Experience integrating or harmonizing data from multiple sources.
- Experience working with sensitive data in environments requiring strong privacy, security, governance, and controlled access.
- Exposure to data engineering, bioinformatics, data architecture, or data modernization initiatives.
- Experience developing reproducible statistical workflows and analytical processes.
- Comfortable communicating complex statistical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively on a long-term, multidisciplinary initiative.
