Fire Suppression Service Technician

Job Description

Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems in addition to other related building system products at customer sites. Service, troubleshoot and install many different manufacturers including Simplex and ANSUL. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics and operational product manuals. Manage daily service call, customer activity and program system products.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Participation in an on-call rotation for Emergency Service.

Performs inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements.

Requirements

Required:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Outstanding customer facing service and problem-solving skills
• PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Any manufacturer certifications is a plus; ANSUL, Kiddie PyroChem
• Valid US drivers license

Hiring hourly range: $17.79-26.44 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package.
