Scrum and Workflow Analyst - Telework Hybrid

Job Description and Duties

This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.

The Information Systems Division with the California Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking a motivated Anlayst I to support our enterprise ServiceNow team by helping document business processes, gathering and clarifying requirements, and assisting with organizing work items for ongoing enhancements. It is ideal for someone early in their analytical career who is eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a statewide service management environment. The incumbent will work with business partners and ServiceNow team members to capture needs, write user stories, support workflow documentation, and ensure requests—such as dashboard updates or process improvements—are clearly defined before technical staff begin development.

Working Conditions

Part-time telework available. Telework requires California residency. This position offers hybrid telework opportunities; however, telework arrangements are subject to change at any time based on State & departmental operational needs. Employees may be required to report to the office as necessary.

The incumbent performs work indoors in a climate-controlled environment under artificial lighting.
