About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President / General Manager for International Business Development. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the organization's global expansion, tasked with developing and executing international business strategies, securing high-value partnerships, and driving significant revenue growth. This role demands a seasoned professional with a strong commercial acumen, capable of leading the transition to long-term, strategic client partnerships and contracts. Key responsibilities include market entry and expansion strategy development, building a robust global sales pipeline, and serving as the primary relationship manager for senior stakeholders and C-suite executives. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in a relevant discipline, a minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or project management within the AEC, engineering consulting, or infrastructure sectors, and a proven track record of winning large, complex contracts. The role requires a leader with strong capabilities in mentoring and leading high-performing business development teams, as well as the ability to translate technical and engineering capabilities into commercial solutions. The candidate should be adept at identifying market trends, competitive developments, and new business opportunities, and be prepared to act as a strategic adviser to executive leadership. A sound understanding of AEC workflows, digital engineering, and emerging technology trends is essential, as is the ability to operate effectively in diverse international and cross-cultural environments. Preferred experience includes direct management of business in the US and European markets, an established network of industry contacts, and exposure to global markets and complex multi-jurisdictional business environments.
