Shift: Varied 8-hour shifts

Schedule: Weekends and holidays required; flexibility required

About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Long-Term Care contract opportunity in Hilo, Hawaii. This role is ideal for an RN with LTC experience who can provide skilled nursing care, complete assessments, administer treatments, and support residents in a hospital-based long-term care setting.


Responsibilities

• Perform resident assessments, treatments, and medication administration
• Notify MD/NP of pertinent resident changes or clinical concerns
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and ADL support
• Provide gastrostomy tube, urinary catheter, nebulized treatment, and CPAP care
• Support wound vac and tracheostomy care as assigned
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

Requirements

• Active Hawaii Registered Nurse license required by start of assignment
• Hawaii license application required upon offer acceptance if not already active
• BLS/BCLS required
• Minimum 1 year Long-Term Care experience required
• Must be flexible with shift schedule and hours
• Must arrive the Thursday before start for employee health appointment on Friday
