DeVivo Companies currently has an opening for a full-time 2 nd shift (Noon - 8:00 PM) Refrigeration Technician at our Buffalo, NY location. Why You Will Love Working Here Compensation of $20.00-54.00/hour Room for advancement – we promote from within Medical & dental insurance Life insurance 401k plan with company match Flexible spending plan Paid time off Paid holidays Uniform & boot program Paid training Employee referral program Sign‑on bonus available for highly qualified technicians Primary Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance & service inspections on a variety of transport refrigeration units (TRU) & auxiliary power units (APU) Perform diagnostic, repair work on mobile refrigeration equipment, auxiliary power units & heater equipment Follow established technical & administrative processes Complete repair orders & parts usage forms Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members, & customers Remain current on technical & regulation requirements Perform road service calls as required Position Requirements 5 years’ experience in the field of refrigeration/HVAC equipment installation and/or repair Skills to sufficiently install, diagnose and repair refrigeration equipment Demonstrate technical knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, materials, methods & equipment to perform, prioritize and complete job assignments Own & maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions High school diploma or equivalent, technical trade school a plus Proficient with computer operation/usage Valid driver’s license A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate is preferred but not required Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status and any other protected classes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
