Bring your expertise in special education to a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity focused on shaping student success beyond the traditional school year. Located near Buda, TX, this position supports students in various settings, including behavior intervention, structured learning (lifeskills), and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE). A completed CSA is on file, ensuring a streamlined onboarding process. Interviews and offers will be extended promptly to qualified candidates.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience with behavioral intervention programs
- Background in structured learning or lifeskills instruction
- Demonstrated skill in ECSE programs and early intervention
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse learner needs and building trusting relationships
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction for students with varying support needs across behavior, lifeskills, and ECSE priorities
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with a team of professionals
- Monitor and manage student progress, adjusting strategies for optimal learning outcomes
- Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support behavioral and academic growth
- Engage with families and other caregivers to extend learning and support beyond the classroom
