In this FSY position, you’ll work within a forward-thinking school team to address diverse special education priorities, including behavior management, structured learning environments (lifeskills), and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE). With an active CSA on file and efficient interview and offer steps, this opportunity allows you to hit the ground running!

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching license and special education certification (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience or enthusiasm for working with students across the behavioral spectrum, including those participating in lifeskills and ECSE programs
• Commitment to individualized, student-centered instruction and creative adaptation
• Strong behavioral management and de-escalation skills
• Capacity to build positive relationships with students, families, and team members
• Organization and flexibility in a fast-paced school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and review IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
• Provide direct instruction in structured learning and behavioral classrooms, as well as ECSE programs
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and administration to create a supportive, inclusive learning atmosphere
• Utilize best practices for behavior intervention, reinforcement, and progress tracking
• Engage in professional development to remain current with trends and regulations in special education
