Master Scheduler

Job TitleThe primary role involves serving as a key contact and liaison with Customer Care, Logistics, and manufacturing departments.Essential functions include:Acting as a primary point of contact for Customer Care, Logistics, and manufacturing departments.Collaborating with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate resources to best serve client or customer needs.Comparing current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials and acquiring additional supplies as needed.Integrating sales orders with the master schedule and coordinating availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff to meet delivery dates.Maintaining and revising the master distribution schedule for all facilities and alerting appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays.Collaborating with Customer Care and Operations to forecast monthly revenue for assigned sites.Participating in forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments.Leading additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staff.Using plant performance metrics to monitor scheduling sequence improvement performance.Investigating production issues and working with plant operations to develop and execute action plans for resolution.Implementing process improvement, methods improvement, and problem-solving activities to improve productivity and reduce cost.Qualifications and education requirements include:Bachelor's degree in a related field required.At least five years of related experience required.Professional certification by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) preferred.Strong computer skills.Proficient in MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel and Power BI preferred.Knowledge, skills, and abilities include:Exemplify Rohrer's Core Values: Ownership, Creativity, Collaboration, Authenticity.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work within all levels of the organization.Compensation for this position can be up to $90,000 per year.
