Physician - General Psychiatrist - Locum

Locum General Psychiatrist - Fayetteville, NC - North Carolina

We are looking for a locum board-certified psychiatrist to work in outpatient settings in Fayetteville, NC for 2-3 weeks in January 2025 for maternity leave.

• specializes in general psychiatry and offers a range of advanced services; Spravato (esketamine), ketamine therapy, and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

Key Responsibilities:

• psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients
• individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices.
• prescribe and manage medications, including Spravato and ketamine
• administer and oversee TMS therapy sessions
• provide psychotherapy and counseling
• collaborate with psychologists, therapists, and nurses
• maintain medical records and documentation

Qualifications:

• American Board Certification in Psychiatry.
• valid medical license to practice in NC - North Carolina
• outpatient psychiatric experience preferred, not required
• experience with Spravato, ketamine therapy, and TMS is highly desirable, not required

Office Hours:

• Monday- Thursday 8am-12pm and 1-5pm.
• Friday 8am-12pm.
• no nights, weekends or cal
