Family Law Paralegal

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm to recruit an experienced family law paralegal. This full time position is ideal for a detail oriented professional with at least three years of experience supporting family law attorneys in matters such as divorce, custody, support, and related domestic issues. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage sensitive information, and experience handling a high volume of cases. Key Responsibilities: • Assist attorneys with all aspects of family law cases from initial intake through resolution • Prepare and draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, financial disclosures, and correspondence • Manage case files and maintain accurate and organized records in both electronic and physical formats • Coordinate court filings and track deadlines to ensure compliance with court rules and procedures • Communicate with clients regarding case status, documentation, and scheduling matters • Schedule hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings • Assist with discovery processes including document collection, organization, and production • Prepare trial materials including exhibits, witness lists, and case summaries • Support attorneys during hearings and trial preparation as needed • Handle administrative tasks such as billing support, time entry, and file maintenance Qualifications: • Minimum of three years of experience as a family law paralegal in a law firm setting • Strong understanding of family law procedures and court filing requirements • Experience preparing financial affidavits, custody documentation, and discovery materials • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast paced environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client focused approach • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems • Professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Benefits: Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the benefits may include PTO, medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term disability and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Additionally, you may be eligible for paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable.
