Job Summary

Th e Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing laboratory experiments, product evaluations, testing procedures, and data documentation according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Job Description

• Perform laboratory experiments and product evaluations according to SOPs and approved testing procedures.
• Safely operate laboratory equipment used for testing and evaluation activities.
• Prepare samples, conduct tests, record observations, and document results accurately.
• Analyze test data and complete basic calculations required for laboratory evaluations.
• Prepare basic reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Interpret test results and communicate findings to supervisors and team members.
• Identify and report critical observations during routine laboratory testing.
• Perform minor maintenance and basic troubleshooting on laboratory equipment.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
• Follow Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and maintain ISO standards within the work area.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute ideas for accident prevention and workplace improvements.
• Assist with training coworkers on SOPs, safety guidelines, and proper equipment use when qualified.
• Complete additional laboratory tasks and projects as assigned.

Skills Required

• Prior laboratory bench experience preferred.
• Ability to closely follow written SOPs and detailed instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to perform routine calculations.
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to write clear and organized reports.
• Ability to safely handle laboratory equipment and materials.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain compliance with laboratory safety procedures and company standards.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and controlled laboratory workspace.
• Follow all applicable ISO and quality management requirements
• Shift: M - F  6 AM - 2:30 PM

Education

• Hig hschool diploma / GED required

Salary

• $22 - $27 per ho ur (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
