From routine checks to hands‑on mechanical repairs, you'll play a critical part in maintaining the integrity and safety of every aircraft that enters our facility.As an Aircraft Service Technician, you'll work with advanced tools, technical manuals, and diagnostic equipment to identify issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Every day brings new challenges, new skills to learn, and the opportunity to directly impact operational excellence.If you're mechanically inclined, safety‑focused, and excited to grow your career in aviation maintenance, this role offers a dynamic environment where your expertise truly matters.PRIMARY RESPONSBILITIES: Perform routine and scheduled aircraft inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and company maintenance programs.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure aircraft are safe, airworthy, and ready for service.Read and interpret technical manuals, engineering documents, service bulletins, and maintenance logs.Remove, repair, and reinstall aircraft components such as panels, control surfaces, and landing gear.Utilize specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to verify system performance and resolve discrepancies.Accurately complete maintenance records, work orders, and compliance documentation.Collaborate with fellow technicians, inspectors, and supervisors to meet project timelines and operational requirements.Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to all safety protocols, including hazardous material handling.Top candidates will possess: High school diploma or GED4+ years related experience in aircraft maintenance, mechanical systems repair, or technical troubleshootingExperience in an MRO, airline, or aerospace maintenance environmentFAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate or enrollment in an A&P programFamiliarity with FAA Part 145 operations and documentationStrong understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principlesAbility to read and follow technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory documentationProficiency using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentBasic computer skills for documentation and work order entryStrong safety awareness and ability to handle tools and materials safelyAbility to work independently and within a teamOther requirements include: Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs., work in confined spaces and in noisy environmentsAbility to occasionally travel for work assignmentsAbility to maintain a tool inventory in alignment with shop requirementsAbility to obtain and retain an airport AOA badgeAbility to work overtime and various shifts as business needs requireWHY JOIN ELLIOTT:At Elliott Aviation, you're not just joining a company, you are becoming part of a legacy built on service, craftsmanship, and trust. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of experience levels.
