A unique and compelling feature of our law firm is that we offer a strong local presence, but also with a national and global platform that allows us to help our clients on their most interesting and complex IP issues.**Job Requirements:**This position will support the IP Practice working on the strategic development, procurement, and counseling of patent portfolios. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of focused experience in the following areas:* Drafting patent applications in the computer arts (e.g., software, AI/ML/LLMs, FinTech, web applications, telecommunications, integrated circuits, etc.)* Prosecuting patent applicationsCandidates should be registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark office. Candidates with a degree or an advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering and/or computer science are preferred, although candidates with degrees in mechanical engineering or other relevant experience will also be considered. Strong experience drafting complex software patent applications is a plus.
