Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, yet necessitates the ability to engage with students and collaborate with faculty and staff within the school setting located in Phoenix, Arizona. Our educational institution strives to cultivate a culture of mental health awareness, and the LCSW will be a key player in integrating therapeutic practices into the school fabric. Typical work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility required for occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends to provide comprehensive student support. On-call availability might also be necessary to address urgent mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the developmental, emotional, and psychological needs of students, while considering their unique histories and challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to address specific mental health concerns, promoting the emotional and social integration of students into the school environment.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in both individual and group therapy sessions, aimed at enhancing emotional regulation and coping mechanisms.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions while employing techniques that foster personal growth, resilience, and effective communication skills amongst students.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists and psychiatric nurses, to ensure comprehensive mental health care.

• Provide crisis intervention support, remaining calm and composed while addressing urgent mental health situations that necessitate immediate action.

The primary focus of this role is the student population within our school, which encompasses a diverse array of cultural, social, and emotional backgrounds. The LCSW will work closely with students facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and behavioral difficulties, fostering an inclusive environment that respects and embraces diversity.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Active LCSW licensure in the state of Arizona.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
