Position Details The Department of Health Sciences & Public Health occasionally has openings for part‑time temporary adjunct instructors to teach courses outside of the academic departments within Harris College. Applying for a part‑time teaching appointment in the Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences would add the applicant to a pool which is available to the college search committee for consideration in case the need arises. Department Details The Department of Applied Health Sciences is the newest academic unit of Harris College and offers the B.S. in Allied Health Sciences with emphasis tracks in related health professions and pre‑professional concentrations to prepare students for competitive application to graduate health professions schools. As one of the fastest growing majors at the university, the potential for innovative curricular development is available for candidates with a unique vision. The individual selected for this position will have the opportunity to lead ongoing discussions of future public health programs within the department.
