EHS CoordinatorFL - TampaPosition Summary: Ensuring that all employees are trained in safety & maintain a safe work environment for employees by tracking Safety KPIs. Provide aid to any employees requiring safety assistance and communicate with corporate EHS team to find solutions. Maintain all EHS files onsite.Essential Functions:Provide safety training for employees on policies, regulations, and procedures.Advise the company's administrative team on safety issues and compliance in specific projects and operations.Inspect and verify company compliance with relevant safety regulations.Record any incidents, maintain OSHA 300 Log, and follow up with Travelers for any existing claims.Ensure that all corporate safety KPIs are met monthly and satisfy corporate standard.Conduct safety onboarding for new employees, ensuring that all new hire documentation is completed and filed.Keep all safety files onsite organized and filed correctly.Conduct daily/ monthly safety audits & track near misses.Conduct safety investigations and ensure corrective actions.Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes.Maintain safety policies & Safety Data Sheets.Performs all other related duties as assigned.Competencies:Knowledge of health and safety laws and guidelines.Ability to recognize when safety conditions need improvement.Excellent organization and time management skills.Must be a self-starter and be able to accomplish a versatile and evolving workload.Excellent in all forms of communication.Innovative, problem solver, flexible, and able to juggle multiple priorities.Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt well to change.Education and Experience:High School Degree- Required; Bachelor's Degree- Preferred.1 to 3 years' experience in an industrial manufacturing environmentKnowledge of OSHA standardsComputer skills- Word, Excel, PowerPoint- RequiredSafety experience- RequiredTravel Requirements:Occasional Travel for TrainingSalary Pay Range: $70,000 - $75,000 USDEEO Statement: J&J Snack Foods Corp. is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discriminatory employment actions against, and treatment of, employees and applicants for employment based on actual or perceived Federal, State and local laws that prohibit employment discrimination on the basis of race, color, age, national origin, ethnicity, alienage, religion or creed, gender, gender identity, pregnancy, marital status, sexual orientation, citizenship, genetic disposition or characteristics, disability or veteran's status, sex offenses, prior record of arrest or conviction, genetic information or predisposing genetic characteristic, status as a victim or witness of domestic violence, sex offenses or stalking and unemployment status.
