Apprentice Plumber

Plumbing ApprenticeStewart Mechanical Inc. is currently hiring plumbing apprentices interested in gaining experience in the plumbing field with advancement goals. Apprentice applicants should have trade experience and be able to join an apprentice program.Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for cleaning and preparing construction sites in preparation for plumbing work.Assists in unloading and loading materialsAssists when necessary with foremen and apprentices.Understanding of basic construction toolsKeep work area clean, dig trenches, preparing equipment for use and returning equipment after use.It is important that a laborer has an ability to see what needs to be done to keep the crew moving efficiently, and is a self-starter.Construction experience is a plusEquipment / Tools:Work with power tools (saws, drills, jack hammers, roto hammers, etc.)Work with equipment (Jumping jacks, scissor lifts, excavators, etc.)Requirements:Reliable transportationDrive motor vehiclesValid drivers licenseProven attendance recordWork outdoorsWork with othersFollow instructionsAttend apprenticeship schoolHigh School Diploma or equivalentMath qualifications equivalent to High School Algebra and Geometry.
