Location Our campus is located at 1601 Maple Street, Carrollton, GA 30118. Faculty and staff members are expected to be physically present on campus as needed to support the in-person educational experience and on-campus vitality at the University of West Georgia. Depending upon teaching assignments and student demand, this could include the Carrollton or Newnan campuses. Job Summary The Creative Content Coordinator for UWG Athletics serves as the primary visual storyteller, responsible for capturing and producing dynamic photo, video, and graphic content that elevates the departments brand and engages fans across digital platforms. This role leads content strategy and execution for athletic events, manages digital assets and web presence, and collaborates with internal and external partners to support marketing, communications, and advancement initiatives. Additionally, the position oversees strategic content shoots and supervises student staff to ensure high-quality, consistent, and innovative storytelling aligned with institutional goals. Responsibilities 1 -
Capture high-quality photo and video at athletic events and translate live moments into engaging visual storytelling. Manage media access and coordinate coverage to ensure consistent branding and effective storytelling across all competitions. 2 -
Develop and produce graphics, motion assets, and multimedia content for digital platforms and social media. Support marketing, branding, and advancement efforts while ensuring all content is accessible (ADA compliant) and aligned with institutional standards. 3 -
Maintain and update the athletics website and manage digital asset systems (e.g., SmugMug), ensuring organized, accessible, and current photo/video resources for marketing, communications, and recruiting. 4 -
Lead media day and strategic content shoots while recruiting, training, and supervising student staff. Ensure quality control, delegate assignments, and foster professional development within the content team. Required Qualifications Educational Requirements

Previous experience creating content for athletics events and/or teams - professional sports or collegiate athletics, experienced in shooting and editing video content while also having a working knowledge in graphic design and social media optimization.
