Manufacturing Quality Inspector

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Manufacturing Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the production process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Manufacturing Quality Inspector **Location:** Los Angeles, CA **Pay Range: $25hr** **Shift:** Evenings (2nd shift, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM) **What's the Job?** + Visually examines and feels the surface of products to detect defects such as mismatched veneer, dents, splits, blemishes, loose and uneven joints, holes, and faulty finishes. + Verifies conformance of products to dimensional specifications, reports anomalies, and assists in identifying root causes of deficiencies. + Records inspection data and the acceptable conditions of products on inspection reports. + Uses various tools such as calibers, micrometers, hardness testers, comparators, and other measurement devices. + Participates in 6S duties to maintain a safe and organized work environment. **What's Needed?** + High School diploma, GED, or equivalent; technical training or experience in inspection preferred. + 6 months to 1 year of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. + Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. + Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules. + Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment. + Engagement in meaningful quality assurance activities. + Potential for growth and skill development within the organization. + Supportive team environment focused on safety and quality. + Consistent evening shifts with a structured schedule. **Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:** + Medical and Prescription Drug Plans + Dental Plan + Supplemental Life Insurance + Short Term Disability Insurance + 401(k) If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
