Lead Mammography TechnologistUnder the direction of the Lead Mammography Technologist performs procedures following the guidelines and regulations of the ACR and Federal and State regulatory agencies.Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:Minimum 2-3 years of Mammography experience, preferably in a lead roleMust be knowledgeable in all aspects of mammographyExcellent communication, outstanding customer service and organizational skillExcellent command of verbal and written EnglishStrong ability to prioritize and problem solve as issues arisePreferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:Experience with 3D breast tomosynthesis mammography equipmentExperience with Meditech and PACSPrevious experience with Cerner a plusEducational Requirements:Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic TechnologyLicense/Certification:ARRT(R), ARRT(M)Massachusetts Radiation Control License in Radiologic Technology and MammographyPhysical Demands:Use hands to control objects, tools, or controlsStand or sit for long periods of timeRepeat the same movementsOn feet for long periods of timeBend or twist bodySee details of objects that are less than a few feet awayHold the arm and hand in one position or hold the hand steady while moving the armMake quick, precise adjustments to machine controlsUse fingers or hands to grasp, move, or assemble objectsMove two or more limbs together while remaining in placeSpeak clearly so listeners can understandUnderstand the speech of another personUse stomach and lower back muscles to support the body for long periods without getting tiredAge Specific Criteria:Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.Ability to Meet Job Performance Expectations:Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
