Machine Operator 1 3rd Shift (Sun-Friday 10pm-6am) - Onsite

Job Summary Hiring for 3rd shift; may be required to train on a different shift. This role is an on‑site machine operator position at a Pratt & Whitney facility in Middletown, PA. Responsibilities Operate a variety of production machines including CMM, polish wheel, grinding machines, and EDM. Read and interpret process sheets. Deburr and clean parts. Make minor offset changes under oversight when required. Frequently utilize measuring devices and assess product acceptance based on blueprint specifications. Perform preventative maintenance and document results. Complete Daily Walk Around (DWA) and use the communication log. Move about the machine line (approximately 90% of the time) to operate various manufacturing equipment. Transport product or equipment weighing up to 10 pounds. Run all equipment in the entire work loop and produce product at the standard rate. Carry out additional tasks within the scope and skill level of this position to support department objectives and develop skills. Qualifications (Required) High School Diploma or equivalent. U.S. citizenship is required. Proficiency with machine tools and precision measuring instruments. Aptitude for mathematics, including the ability to read blueprints and work from drawings.
