Responsibilities
- Provide strategic clinical science leadership across atherosclerosis portfolio and multiple assets
- Guide clinical data interpretation and support issue resolution across assigned programs
- Standardize clinical science approaches, medical data review practices, and scientific standards
- Manage and develop directors, principal scientists, and clinical scientists reporting to the role
- Contribute clinical science perspective to portfolio governance discussions and senior leadership reviews
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of atherosclerosis disease biology and treatment landscape
- Experience leading clinical science strategy across multiple programs and studies
- Expertise in clinical endpoint selection and study design for cardiovascular disease
- Proven ability to manage and develop scientific staff in matrix environments
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with regulatory, biostatistics, and medical affairs
- Experience standardizing scientific practices and implementing innovative approaches
