Sales / Business Development Rep
Title:
Commercial Fleet Sales Representative
Purpose:
To generate new commercial and fleet repair accounts through proactive outreach and manage early-stage customer relationships to drive recurring revenue.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify commercial businesses with fleet vehicles
- Conduct door-to-door and outbound sales outreach
- Research prospects prior to contact
- Log all activity in company tracking system
- Follow up consistently until conversion or disqualification
- Maintain relationships during first year of account life
- Coordinate with Service Advisor for smooth onboarding
Daily Expectations
- Minimum outreach activity completed and logged
- New prospects added weekly
- Follow-ups scheduled and completed
- Accurate notes and customer data maintained
Performance Metrics (Non-Negotiable)
- New accounts acquired per month
- Follow-ups completed
- Activity volume
- Revenue generated (first job + trailing 12 months)
Failure to hit minimum activity = disciplinary action.
