Associate Designer - Girls Apparel

We are a leading children’s apparel company engaged in licensed and private label business with major retailers across the USA.

Job Description

• Develop seasonal graphic artwork for Toddler Girls Walmart licensed apparel
• Create original graphics, prints, embellishments, and artwork that align with brand guidelines and current trends
• Adapt licensed artwork for apparel while maintaining brand integrity and visual consistency
• Collaborate with Designers, Merchandising, and Product Development teams to develop commercially relevant graphics
• Research trends, competitive products, and market direction to inspire new graphic concepts
• Prepare artwork and colorways for presentations, approvals, and production
• Review samples and strike-offs to ensure artwork is executed accurately
• Manage multiple projects and artwork revisions while meeting seasonal deadlines
• Work closely with internal teams and licensing partners when necessary to secure artwork approvals

Qualifications

• 4+ years of graphic design experience, preferably in apparel
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Experience creating graphics for children’s apparel or licensed products is preferred
• Strong understanding of typography, color, layout, and print techniques
• Ability to interpret and adapt licensed artwork while following brand guidelines
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
• Must be located in NYC; position is primarily onsite with some flexibility to work from home on Fridays
