Maintenance Tech Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, inspection and repair of equipment per Preventive Maintenance Schedule in MRP System (wIntegrate). Serve as ISO Process Owner for Maintenance. Perform preventative maintenance, inspection and repair of facilities per Preventive Maintenance Schedule in MRP System (wIntegrate). Maintain and upgrade equipment used in building and repair of tools. Assist in the coordination activities of outside vendor production equipment and facility service contracts. Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair. Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs. Plan repair work using building blueprints or equipment manual as needed. Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures. Perform routine maintenance on building systems such as electrical, plumbing. Clean and assist with upkeep of the facilities. Perform limited grounds maintenance such as mowing and trimming lawns and hedges and cleaning snow from sidewalks. Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance. Train production employees on preventative maintenance of equipment. Communicate relevant or potential issues to Production Managers & Supervisors. Adhere to all safety rules and guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Maintenance Tech Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; trade or vocational degree preferred. Related experience 5 years minimum with 10 or more preferred. Knowledge of general carpentry and repair. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Mechanical aptitude. Basic computer skills. Ability to read schematics. Knowledge of electrical installation. Knowledge of manufacturing equipment. Ability to troubleshoot. Ability to perform basic plumbing tasks. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to multitask.
