About Our Facility

Position Overview

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality nursing services by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere. You will serve as a key liaison among patients, families, providers, and other team members. Your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in performance improvement initiatives
• Maintaining professional competence
• Supporting the development of others
• Upholding confidentiality, safety, and professional standards
• Engaging in Shared Governance through participation in councils or activities

Core Responsibilities

• Patient Care and Coordination: Monitor, assess, and evaluate patient conditions. Assist in developing care plans and take necessary actions to enhance patient outcomes and well-being. Deliver care as outlined, using independent judgment when necessary. Collaborate with other staff to communicate patient care plans effectively. Ensure optimal daily patient flow and experience while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Patient Advocacy and Satisfaction: Address patient concerns with empathy, ensuring timely responses to their needs. Act as an educational resource for patients and families regarding health issues. Share essential patient information with families and care providers while prioritizing patient-centered care to enhance satisfaction for all parties involved.
• Performance Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing the work environment and processes. Contribute ideas for solutions and support the implementation of changes aimed at improving patient quality outcomes, satisfaction, and organizational performance.
• Professional Competency and Growth: Maintain necessary licenses and certifications. Complete required training and actively seek out development opportunities. Engage with professional organizations and stay updated on research and best practices in the field.
• Professional Leadership: Mentor and support the growth of fellow nurses. Foster a positive work environment and adhere to all professional standards. Promote shared governance principles and maintain accountability through peer feedback. Advocate for the nursing profession and assist in recruiting new nursing talent.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.
• Licenses and Certifications: All certifications must be obtained upon hire unless specified otherwise. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, along with either a Single State Registered Nurse license or a Multi-state Compact RN license.
