Bookkeeper/Office Manager

What You’ll Do:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including creating invoices, processing vendor payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Reconcile multiple bank accounts monthly, analyze variances, and assist with financial reporting and cash flow analysis.
• Support HR functions such as onboarding, benefits enrollment, and timekeeping oversight.
• Facilitate inside sales activities—processing quotes, proposals, and customer inquiries while maintaining precise sales records.
• Oversee office supply inventory, coordinate maintenance, and contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to streamline workflows, ensure compliance, and support company growth initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Heavy experience with QuickBooks and basic proficiency in Excel.
• At least 5+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities independently.
• Effective communication skills—verbal and written—with a professional demeanor.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in small to mid-sized companies, especially in roles requiring wearing many hats.
• Knowledge of inventory management and basic sales support.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; relevant experience or an Associate degree with extensive experience considered.
• A minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience, with strong full-charge bookkeeping background.
