Registered Nurse Cath Lab PRN

Hourly Wage Estimate: $36.50 - $55.25 / hour Job Summary And Qualifications Our team of expert Cath Lab clinicians are experienced and highly trained to diagnose cardiac conditions as well as perform coronary and peripheral interventions. The Cardiac Cath Lab is available to patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This cardiac service offers the most advanced and innovative technology. Our medical and nursing staff is trained extensively in all areas of cardiac diseases. Working as a Cardiovascular Specialist – Cath Lab Registered Nurse involves: Routine care and maintenance of radiological equipment. Ensuring quality patient care and maintaining required cath lab competencies. Assisting in invasive and non‑invasive cardiac procedures. Explaining procedures to patients to reduce anxiety. Working within a team and being willing to cover “on call” assignments, returning within 30 minutes for emergency cases. Handling emergency situations during high‑risk procedures. Providing discretion and confidentiality. Interacting with physicians during procedures and emergencies, and recording data. Administering medications per orders during lab procedures. Managing pre‑procedure preparation and post‑procedure processes, including recovery and outpatient appointments. Prior Cath Lab Experience Preferred For PRN Position Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing. Current Colorado Registered Nurse License with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification. Proficiency in cardiology nursing procedures and skills, including cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation. Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, and rhythm interpretation.
