Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $23.00 Sign on Bonus of $2,000 Join our team and change someone's life! Provides opportunities for individuals to develop new vocational skills, expand existing ones, and develop and support employment relationships between individuals and the community employer; reliable and courteous transportation to individuals with safety a top priority; a communication link between individuals and staff; operates and maintains assigned vehicles; maintains vehicles' and individuals' records; ensures provision of a safe and nurturing environment; and opportunities for individuals to experience a variety of activities that promote community inclusion. Qualifications Experience in the human services field a plus. Valid drivers' license and an acceptable driving record. Obtain, and maintain, certification in First Aid, CPR, and Drivers' Safety and other mandated trainings. Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of individuals verbally. Must be able to work independently while demonstrating effective time management, organizational, and planning skills. Education and Experience High school diploma / GED and 1-year experience working with individuals with disabilities A valid driver's license and a minimum of one year of driving experience with a safe driving record. Equal Opportunity Employer/Disabled/Veterans In programs requiring pre-employment drug testing, identified employees will undergo drug testing for marijuana, cocaine, opiates, amphetamines and phencyclidines (PCP). These individuals will also be required to undergo testing upon reasonable suspicion of being under the influence and after any accident whenever consumers are on board at the time of the accident.
