The full-time, full school year position is itinerant in nature, providing the chance to collaborate across multiple campuses and settings. All direct student services are delivered in-person—perfect for professionals who thrive providing hands-on support in a school-based environment. Candidates must be comfortable serving a diverse caseload and adapting therapeutic strategies to meet a variety of student needs.

COTAs should have proven experience in school settings and are welcomed to apply—virtual OT supervision is offered to ensure ample guidance and support. Please note, all direct services and interactions will occur face-to-face (no teletherapy options are available for this role).

What you’ll bring:

• Current licensure as an OT or COTA in California
• Previous school-based experience (required for COTAs)
• Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage a varied and dynamic caseload
• Flexibility to travel between multiple educational sites
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with students of all ability levels

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized OT services to students, supporting their academic and functional goals
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with school staff and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state requirements
• Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
