Responsibilities Conduct scrubbing and circulating duties for operative procedures. Prepare and set up the operating room, including equipment assembly and ensuring functionality. Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to standards. Consult and coordinate with surgical team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care. Serve as a communication liaison to patients, families, and operating team members. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program; BSN highly preferred. Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia. At least 2 years of acute‑care operating room experience. Preferred certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS.
