Sr. Manager, Marketplaces

Responsibilities Drive commerce by growing Dyson’s presence on 3rd‑party marketplaces, developing integrated customer experiences using best‑in‑class digital strategies and merchandising to generate sell‑out velocity. Manage the day‑to‑day responsibilities for all Dyson’s marketplaces and create, manage, and optimise listings. Manage a team of managers and operations managers covering category‑level sales (Beauty, Home+Wearables), B‑Grade (Dyson Renewed), and inventory management, ensuring SLAs are met. Coordinate marketing for all online marketplaces, including promotional opportunities, pricing optimisation, and content creation. Identify product, service, or marketplace issues and resolve them, building and maintaining relationships with contacts at each marketplace. Communicate risks and proposed mitigating plans on both short‑ and medium‑term timeframes. Lead reporting of business results at defined cadences internally and with regional leadership. Partner with IT to drive the roadmap to completion for Rithum and other cross‑platform solutions. Improve processes to ensure adherence to SLAs and drive ecommerce financial goals for Dyson’s marketplaces. Deliver and exceed growth objectives for finished goods and parts across product categories, monitor fraud, and partner with finance/supply chain to unblock orders and ensure SLA compliance. Negotiate terms, improve cash flow, and manage digital marketing assets. Oversee online sales promotion programmes and develop calendars aligned with retail activity plans, ensuring competitiveness across direct channels. Identify and execute cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities, build merchandising calendars and content publishing processes, and research new marketplaces. Develop and deliver integrated sales and marketing plans, e‑commerce range planning, promotions, and merchandising solutions to reduce refurbished inventory levels without channel conflict. Build a culture of continuous learning through testing, measurement, and optimisation on marketplace storefronts. Lead and mentor your team, support knowledge sharing, and ensure all Dyson communications are compliant with IP, legal, and product requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. 5‑7 years of online marketing experience working with one or more major third‑party marketplaces (eBay, Amazon, Walmart). Experience managing P&L for an ecommerce site. Experience onboarding to a marketplace platform. Strong understanding of the e‑commerce equation and how to optimise it. Experience with Rithum or other cross‑platform marketplace solutions preferred. Proven track‑record in paid media digital project management, digital creative development, and account management in a cross‑functional environment. Web merchandising expertise. Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting. Proactive, continuously looking for improvement opportunities. Ability to travel up to 20%. Strong interpersonal skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. Compensation $165,600 to $207,000 annually + bonus opportunity.
