Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Mercy (MO).

Additional Details:

Special Requests: - Requested time off: up to 5 days in each 13 weeks can be automatically approved; anything more would be subject to approval by the leader prior to confirming the candidate, and time would be asked to be made up at the end of the assignment.

Unit Details: - Short stay Med Surg/Tele unit. - Adult-only patient population; approximately 50% medical and 50% telemetry. - Patient ratios 4-6:1, estimates, not guarantees.

Shift & Scheduling: - Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week at the request of the candidate. - Every other full weekend; Saturday and Sunday required unless otherwise approved by the leader prior to confirmation. - Candidates should be expected to work at least one of the major winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day. - No call. - Night shift orients on day shift. Traveler must be available the entire week for orientation.

Floating Requirements: - As needed, to a similar or lower acuity unit.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
