Channel Sales Manager

Versa Designed Surfaces is hiring a sales leader to drive sales growth and brand awareness within our established distribution network and develop new business opportunities. This role is a dynamic combination of brand manager, brand advocate, and chief excitement officer.

This role is about more than revenue. It’s about relationships, product storytelling, collaboration and creative solutions. Partnering with our distributors—and in concert with our design, marketing, and R&D teams—you'll help build and maintain Versa's position as a leader in design, technology, and sustainability. From walking the factory floor to building strategic partnerships, you'll be the single point of contact for distribution—getting answers and offering solutions to help ensure their success.

The Role:

In this position, you will work closely with our distributors’ sales teams to ensure Versa products stay top of mind and that distribution partners have the sales and marketing resources needed to drive revenue. If you enjoy relationship building, influencing, educating, and guiding strategic sales activities, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Join distributor sales reps in the field to present products.

2. Act as an expert resource on design, sustainability, and product features/benefits.

3. Host factory tours, product development meetings, training seminars, and strategic planning sessions.

Support & Resources:

You will be backed by a strong team of corporate subject matter experts in product design, sustainability, technical support, and sales service. Your mission is to leverage this team to become the ultimate go-to source for our distribution partners.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. Background in architectural & design (A&D) specification sales.

2. Experience calling directly on the A&D community.

3. Thorough understanding of the specification-to-sale process.

Key Metrics for Success:

1. Attaining specific sales growth targets set with distribution partners.

2. Successful completion of engagement activities.

Location & Travel:

1. Based in the Metro Louisville, KY area.

2. Requires up to 50% travel across North America.
