This opportunity is available in a highly engaging unit dedicated to providing exceptional care. The unit features:

• Location: Spotsylvania, VA
• Number of Beds: 10 Labor/Delivery/Recovery (LDR), 3 Triage, and 2 Operating Room (OR) suites
• Staffing: 30 Registered Nurses (RNs)
• Patient Ratios: 2 Laboring patients per 1 RN

Unit Details

The unit is well-equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including:

• GE Monitoring Systems
• Novii Wireless Monitoring
• Spectrum IV Pumps
• CADD Epidural PCA
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech

Hiring Profile

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Required Skills:
  
  
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Preferred Skills:
  
  
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Personality Fit: Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor

Typical Procedures

The unit routinely performs the following procedures:

• Inductions
• Cesarean Sections (C/S)
• Spontaneous Vaginal Deliveries (SVD)

Dress Code

Staff are required to wear OR scrubs appropriate for the unit. Please refrain from wearing attire that does not adhere to the professional standards of the facility.
