Nuclear Medicine Technologist

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs a variety of nuclear medicine examinations, following established protocols to gather patient history and conduct imaging studies. They administer therapeutic doses under supervision, prepare exam rooms, and produce high-quality diagnostic scans. Essential requirements include state licensure, NMTCB or ARRT registration within two years, and experience in diverse nuclear imaging procedures. CPR certification is needed, or must be obtained upon hire. Work involves a hospital environment with standing, walking, and potential exposure to hazards, requiring flexibility for shifts, including holidays and weekends.
