Retail Sales Manager

Position Overview

At International Motors, we believe our dealer partners are critical to delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving commercial success. As a Retail Sales Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor, business partner, and performance coach to a portfolio of dealers, helping them grow their business, strengthen sales capability, and unlock new opportunities. This position will support dealers in Chicago-Gary, IN.

This is not a traditional sales role. It is a strategic consultative position focused on influencing business outcomes through coaching, data-driven insights, solution selling, and relationship leadership. You will work side-by-side with dealer leaders and sales teams to improve performance, identify growth opportunities, and build capabilities that create long-term success.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer principals, general managers, sales leaders, and key stakeholders. Align dealer business objectives with International Motors' strategic priorities and help partners identify opportunities to accelerate performance and profitability.

• Act as a performance coach for dealer sales organizations by providing guidance, structured feedback, and development strategies that improve selling effectiveness, solution-selling capabilities, and business results.

• Leverage industry trends, market intelligence, customer insights, and performance data to help dealers improve execution, increase market competitiveness, and achieve growth objectives.

• Partner with dealer leadership to create and implement growth strategies that maximize opportunities across International Motors' full portfolio of vehicles, services, financing solutions, parts, and aftermarket offerings.

• Connect dealers with the right internal resources and capabilities across International Motors to address business challenges, improve customer outcomes, and support long-term growth.

• Utilize CRM systems, analytics platforms, dashboards, and AI-enabled insights to assess performance, identify opportunities, guide coaching conversations, and maintain an accurate view of business health and pipeline activity.

• Monitor competitive activity, market dynamics, and dealer performance indicators to proactively address concerns and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

• Share best practices, collaborate across functions, support strategic initiatives, and contribute to a culture of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of sales experience

• At least 1 years of lead experience

OR

• Master's degree and at least 3 years of sales experience

• At least 1 years of lead experience

OR

• At least 8 years of sales experience

• At least 1 years of lead experience

Additional Requirements

This position offers competitive market-based compensation, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employee wellbeing. Salary Minimum: USD $98,400.00/Yr.
