Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at our center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs and history.

• Providing individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to address various mental health issues.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic practices to intervene with complex family dynamics, including issues of substance abuse, grief, separation, and communication difficulties.

• Developing, implementing, and adjusting treatment plans based on clients' progress and feedback.
\n
• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and community resources when necessary to support clients' holistic care.

• Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on couples, individuals, and family units. You will specialize in addressing a variety of concerns, such as:

• Effects of psychological/emotional abuse.
\n
• Grief and loss challenges.
\n
• Family conflicts and interpersonal communication difficulties.
\n
• Stress related to employment and medical issues.
\n
• Transitions such as remarriage, separation, and divorce.

• Adapting behavioral strategies for blended families and other complex family structures.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Must be a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.

• Possess a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Hold an active state license and maintain compliance with continuing education requirements.
