Analyst, Senior Systems

Senior Systems Analyst (000GMK) Work with the largest North American midstream energy companies and leverage our footprint to increase opportunities for growth along our value chain. The Senior Full Stack Developer position is responsible for developing and styling new and existing web-based applications. The projects will center around the functionality for the company’s external web sites, intranet portal, and mobile applications. The position will also involve handling support requests, interfacing with customers, and collaborating with team members. Responsibilities Collaborate with business users and all levels of management to understand requirements/issues/challenges and translate them into user-centric solutions. Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services; manage database schemas and ensure scalability and security. Build reusable UI components and maintain internal design patterns to ensure a consistent user experience across applications. Integrate front‑end applications with RESTful and data APIs, ensuring reliable data handling and error states. Participate in architecture and design discussions for both front‑end and back‑end components. Troubleshoot and resolve issues spanning front‑end, API, and data layers. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives. Qualifications Strong skills in front end web development with a solid understanding of accessible HTML and responsive CSS. Have a focus on common UI/UX research and design practices. 3+ years of experience with modern front-end frameworks (preferably React). 3+ years of experience with back-end languages (preferably Python). Proficient with TypeScript — experience in production codebases preferred. Proficient with Git version control, including branching strategies and code review workflows. Ability to work with SQL/NoSQL databases including writing queries, designing schemas, or diagnosing performance issues. Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2, JWT, or SSO integrations. Proficient with creating and consuming RESTful services. Experience with implementing responsive design. Ability to take a visual design and develop an engaging, polished front end. Experience writing automated tests (e.g., Jest, Pytest, Cypress, or similar frameworks). Preferred Skills Experience with SASS or SCSS. Experience with Node.js. Experience with TypeScript. Experience with Docker or container-based development workflows. Experience with git. Experience with WCAG / ADA guidelines. Experience with Azure CI/CD pipelines.
