Credit Analyst

Overview UMB Commercial Banking & Lending provides a comprehensive solution to commercial organizations of all sizes. On this Credit Analyst team, you gain the knowledge and skill to understand UMB’s Commercial lending philosophy and to grow your career within the Commercial Lending team. Responsibilities Provide the initial analysis of every commercial loan for UMB. Work with Loan Officers to review new loan information for approval. Attend loan committee meetings, participate in the credit rotation program, and interface with senior management. Analyze companies’ credit standing and relationships with UMB to achieve a wholistic view of overall financial health. Produce the formal credit write‑up to summarize the credit standing for approval. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related area, or equivalent work experience. Completion of 6 hours of accounting at a collegiate level. Compensation US Employees in California, Washington DC, New Jersey, and New York: $47,100 – $68,600 US Employees in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin: $43,000 – $62,800 US Employees in all other states: $38,910 – $56,990 The posted compensation range represents UMB’s good faith estimate based on its budget and expected starting pay for this role; actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job‑related factors.
