Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Kansas City, MO

Job Type: Permanent Placement

Schedule: Days & Nights Available | Rotating Weekends | 36–40 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $30.04 - $41.50/Hour
Shift Differential: +$4.00/Hour for Nights | +$4.00/Hour for Weekends

We are seeking an experienced Med-Surg RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment skills and experience caring for medical and post-surgical patients.

• ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.

• Active Missouri RN License or Compact RN License.

• BLS Certification required.

• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care RN experience.

• Strong Med-Surg clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to manage a diverse adult patient population.

• Provide direct nursing care to medical and post-surgical patients.

• Perform patient assessments and monitor clinical status.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments.

• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

• Supervise and support nursing support staff.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
