$1958.40/week - Job Summary: The Nursing Home Registered Nurse provides essential clinical and administrative support in a long-term care setting. This role involves direct patient care, ensuring resident safety, and facilitating effective communication with healthcare teams and families. Responsibilities: Perform timely and accurate assessments of residents, documenting all clinical observations. Administer medications following proper protocols and the 5 Rights to ensure resident safety. Execute wound care procedures and conduct assessments as needed. Monitor residents for changes in condition, reporting significant findings to the healthcare team. Assist CNAs with resident care and respond promptly to call lights and resident needs. Lead on the floor by assessing situations, directing staff, and ensuring quality care. Qualifications: Hold a valid Wisconsin Registered Nursing license and maintain certification. Possess a two-year nursing degree; a four-year degree is preferred. Maintain current CPR/BLS certification. Demonstrate a minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience (preferred).
