This is a part-time, seasonal position reporting to the program's Head Coach and further to the Director of Athletics. Assistant Coaches at CUWAA fulfill the Athletics Department mission to inspire a Christian culture of academic and athletic excellence by embracing the mission of the University: developing the mind, body and spirit of our student-athletes. The result is a win in every sense of the word.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesign all training for each practice.Create pre-meet training planAttend practice and meets.Support all student athletes in their athletic & academic endeavorsSupport and integrate the mission and values of Concordia University within the program.Other duties as assigned.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree strongly encouraged and collegiate track & Field experience or coaching experience is preferred.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesExcellent organizational abilities, professional written and oral communication skills.Strong problem-solving skills.Demonstrated leadership and management skills.Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a driver check.Supportive of mission and core values of the CUWAA Athletics Department.Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)Physical Demands/Equipment (Click to View)Compensation & BenefitsThis is a part-time, seasonal position paid by way of bi-monthly stipend throughout the duration of the sport/program season. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience.
