Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 3+ years nursing experience, 1 year travel experience License: Valid California RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred, nursing experience of 2 years, required charting system experience with Epic, travel experience preferred Description: OR Registered Nurse needed. Plans, manages, and coordinates the professional nursing care delivered to surgical patients. Provides specialized care and treatment. Directs and supervises ancillary nursing personnel. Works in collaboration with all members of the health team. Scrubs or circulates surgical cases. Maintains AORN standards of professional nursing practice. Ability to make fine discrimination in sound. Ability to work with bodily fluids and substances. Handles emergency or crisis situations. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations. OSHA Risk Category I (High Risk).
