Role Description

NS Law Group is seeking a full-time, on-site Paralegal to work directly with attorneys in managing an active caseload.

Responsibilities include preparing and proofreading legal documents, e-filing, organizing case files, calendaring and tracking deadlines, assisting with discovery, conducting legal and factual research, communicating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel, and assisting with hearings, depositions, mediations, trials, and real estate or business transactions.

The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to take ownership of assigned matters and keep cases moving forward.

Qualifications

Prior law office or paralegal experience preferred;

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred;

Experience with Texas civil litigation and court procedures is strongly preferred;

Strong writing, proofreading, organizational, and communication skills;

Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines;

Experience with Texas e-filing, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and case-management software; and

Clio experience is a plus.
