Experience Required 12 months trainer or lead instructor Minimum Education Required Associate Degree (any field) Compensation $45,864.00 - $45,864.00 / Yearly Hours Per Week 40 Number Of Positions 1 Shift First Shift (Day) Job Description Consistent with AHA guidelines and procedures, deliver approved AHA course content leading to AHA course completion cards or certificates, such as BLS, ACLS, and/or PALS, by preparing class schedules, course outlines, skills checklists, handouts, and other instructional materials for healthcare workers and students, such as nursing students, medical assistants, home health aides, and caregivers, who need healthcare-related training, emergency response skills, or AHA course completion credentials for employment, clinical participation, or professional development. Conduct orientation sessions. Teach AHA course content, demonstrate required healthcare skills, and supervise hands-on practice. Evaluate students, administer or monitor written and skills examinations, and determine whether students meet AHA passing guidelines. Maintain attendance records, skills evaluation forms, course completion records, and other training records, and monitor compliance with AHA course standards and the training center's policies.
